Fresh Local Honey
If you've bought some local honey, you may have discovered the website address bringing you here.....Welcome!
Dakota Pharmgirl Honey is made and harvested in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania just up the road from Maple Acres Farm, where you may have purchased your honey.
After taking both a 1st year and 2nd year beekeeping class held by the Montgomery County Beekeepers’ Association of PA at the 4H center in Skippack, I made a start as a backyard beekeeper. I now have several years under my belt and an apiary license for 2 registered hives. Luckily my hives have produced so much honey, it's more than I can share with friends and family.
So if you have purchased some and discovered this website, I’m thrilled to be able to share the fruits of my learning and labor (well really the bees labor!) and sell a local product I know you will enjoy.
You'll find honeybee related articles on my blog (See Beekeeping Category) mixed in with other topics. Feel free to explore the site.
Thanks for visiting and supporting your local honey producers!
